Bryan Danielson vs Swerve Strickland is the confirmed main event of AEW All In 2024.

Wembley Stadium will host the titanic match on August 25th. It is a huge match for Danielson, who has self-imposed his retirement from full-time wrestling this year. He will only wrestle part-time after Wembley Stadium, practically ending his chances of become world champion again.

All In will be his last chance, but it will be no easy feat. Swerve Strickland has been an impressive champion so far. He’s knocked off challengers like Will Ospreay, Samoa Joe and Christian Cage, although the American Dragon could be his toughest opponent.

Danielson earned his shot at Swerve by winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. He won the Owen Hart Cup by beating Adam Page in one of the great matches in Dynamite history. After the bout, this match was confirmed as the main event at Wembley Stadium later this summer.

Fans in London have a fantastic match to look forward to in Bryan Danielson vs Swerve Strickland. However, it does mean the chances of Nigel McGuinness coming out of retirement to wrestle Danielson are slim to none.

The English legend had gear made for a match against Danielson last year, but injury meant that match never happened. Hopefully, seeing Bryan Danielson beat Swerve Strickland for the AEW Championship will be enough to help the British wrestling fans forget all about that dream rematch.
