It looks as though the Will Ospreay vs Michael Oku saga hasn’t ended quite yet.
The main event of RevPro Summer Sizzler 2024 saw Michael Oku challenging MJF for the AEW International Championship.
While the Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion lost the match, he was saved from an attack by the returning Will Ospreay.
The Aerial Assassin was making his first RevPro appearance since losing to Oku earlier this year. While he was there to continue his rivalry with MJF, it wasn’t the only reason for shock appearance.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan reported some backstage information from RevPro Summer Sizzler 2024, specifically about Will Ospreay and Michael Oku.
“Those we spoke to in RevPro believe the story between Michael Oku and Will Ospreay will continue.” Fightful select reported.
They also reported that Will Ospreay was backstage before his run-in, watching all the matches throughout the show. He even gave the wrestlers advice after their matches, despite no longer being signed to RevPro.
“Will Ospreay was backstage throughout the show, watched every match and provided feedback to talent as well as helping out in other ways.”
