Will Ospreay wants to face Adam Copeland in AEW, and thinks he is a “different animal” compared to his time in WWE.

Both men picked up big wins at AEW Double or Nothing 2024. Ospreay beat Roderick Strong in the opening match of the show, taking home the AEW International Championship.

Meanwhile, the former Edge defending his TNT Championship against Malakai Black. He beat the House of Black leader in a barbed-wire steel cage match, thanks to interference from Gangrel.

In a recent interview with Justin Walker, Ospreay expressed his desire to face Adam Copeland. Ospreay said:

“Potential opponents… Adam Copeland, just because, uh, he’s just transformed into a different animal. Especially compared to what he was on other channels. Like, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him like this. Like, he’s just, once again, trying new stuff out and he’s fitting in with our style, right?”

“I do feel like Adam does have a different style to what every other company does, where we actually put the sole focus on the press that the story is pro-wrestling. It is about climbing the ranks, being the best, and the fact that he’s just taken to it, and I just, I just can’t help but think, what does that look like? What does Oscar versus Copeland look like? So I’m very much fascinated with that.”
