MJF is wrestling Michael Oku at RevPro Summer Sizzler 2024.
The AEW American Champion is gearing up for a huge clash in the UK next month. He is set to do battle with Will Ospreay at Wembley Stadium at AEW All In.
However, before that, he will take on somebody Ospreay knows very well. MJF will wrestle Michael Oku at RevPro Summer Sizzle 2024, just weeks before AEW All In.
On July 28th at RevPro Live In Coventry, MJF cut a promo on Michael Oku in a video message.
He insulted Oku, while also talking down all of England. MJF then challenged Oku to face him, putting his title on the line. RevPro then announced on Twitter that MJF vs Michael Oku will wrestle on Sunday, August 11th at York Hall in Bethnal Green.
Michael Oku is the current Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion. If MJF wins this match, he could be setting up a bout for that belt at RevPro 12th Anniversary Show, on the night before All In.
This is the first time MJF will wrestle for RevPro since 2019. The former AEW Champion defeated TK Cooper in the opening bout of a show in Nottingham five years ago. This was before he made his debut for AEW, and featured a much different MJF than we know today.
