Predicting Where WWE’s Clash At The Castle 2025 Will Take Place

WWE are expected to return for another PLE in the United Kingdom in 2025, and we’ve predicted where Clash at the Castle 2025 could take place

The first iteration of the event took place in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium in 2022. It was the first time a main roster PLE had taken place in Wales. It was also WWE’s first UK-based stadium show since Summerslam 1992.

They followed it up with Money in the Bank 2023 in London, before returning with Clash at the Castle in Glasgow this year. With Triple H expected to run another Clash at the Castle show in 2025, we’ve predicted the cities which could host the British wrestling event.

Coventry, England (Coventry Building Society Arena)

An interesting choice for Clash at the Castle 2025 would be the Coventry Building Society Arena in, you guessed it, Coventry.

With over 30,000 seats, it would be a bigger building than the last two WWE shows have managed. However, with a good enough card and stars like CM Punk and Drew McIntyre involved, it could be a wonderful show in a neglected part of the country for wrestling.

With transport links to London, Birmingham and the Midlands, it would be the perfect place to put on a countrywide show. It makes it easier for fans to get to, and would give the West Midlands their first Premium Live Event in history.

We predict that this would be an excellent choice for Clash at the Castle 2025, and help create new wrestling fans across the United Kingdom.

Dublin, Ireland (3Arena)

It is about time Ireland got its first ever WWE PLE. The Emerald Isle was meant to host a NXT UK: Takeover event in 2020. However, the COVID pandemic meant they had to cancel the show altogether.

With OTT being incredibly popular in the country, there are clearly huge amounts of wrestling fans. Clash at the Castle 2025 could be the chance for Finn Balor to win the World Heavyweight title. It could also see Sheamus finally become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE.

And most importantly, there is a castle in Dublin, so it’s allowed.

Sheffield, England (Sheffield Arena)

Returning to Sheffield could be an excellent choice for the WWE’s next return to Britain. It would help pay tribute to the city’s history in hosting wrestling events over the years.

The Sheffield Arena hosted one of the first ever WWE UK Pay Per View events. WWE UK Rampage 1992 took place months before Summerslam 1992 in Wembley Stadium, although it featured a much less impressive card.

They returned there the following year for another UK Rampage, as well as the Rebellion PPV in 2000. Since then, there’s never been a major WWE event in Sheffield. Clash at the Castle 2025 would be a good way to return to a historic city for a historic event.

London, England (Royal Albert Hall)

There is no more iconic venue in Britain, in terms of professional wrestling, than the Royal Albert Hall in London. Over the past 100 years, countless huge main events have taken place there, with hopefully more to come at Clash at the Castle 2025.

Wrestling at the arena goes back to 1904, where Georg Hackenschmidt defeated the American champion Tom Jenkins. Over the years, stars like Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks and Kendo Nagasaki all appeared in main event matches in the Royal Albert Hall.

WWE even ran the building when they launched the United Kingdom tournament. A return to the near-6000 capacity building would make for an intimate, unique setting for a PLE in 2025
