Tyson Fury has hung up his boxing gloves as he enters a new stage of his professional career.
The former World Heavyweight Champion recently announced his retirement from boxing after nearly two decades in the ring.
During this time, Tyson Fury became one of the greatest and most controversial boxers of all time. His incredible size and speed made him unmatched in the sport.
However, the failure to sort out a deal to fight Anthony Joshua put a dampener on his legacy, as did his struggles to put away UFC fighter Francis Ngannou on his boxing debut.

With boxing now behind him, Fury could take his undefeated professional wrestling record back to the WWE for another run in the ring.
He previously wrestled Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, winning by countout against the Monster Among Men in Saudi Arabia.
Tyson Fury could return to the WWE despite claiming wrestling is ‘too hard’
Fury now has the opportunity to leave boxing behind and move back into the world of professional wrestling.
The former World Heavyweight Champion previously claimed that the WWE was too hard on his body compared to boxing, although his retirement means that he has time to train and recover from wrestling.
“WWE’s too hard for me. Boxing is much easier than WWE.” Tyson Fury told ESPN.
“It’s very physical and taxing on the body. WWE, getting slammed on the floor and all that sort of stuff. I’d rather move around the ring and dodge punches.”

“Boxing is definitely more entertaining when I’m in it. I’ll say boxing will be f—ed when I’m gone.”
However, he later told Sports Illustrated that there is still opportunity for him in the WWE and his career in the ring doesn’t seem to be over
“I’ve been doing this for 15 years, which is a long time. I know it won’t last forever. And it’s true, I’ve had a few good stints in WWE. There is still a lot of opportunity there.”
Given his recent retirement from boxing and the chance of a dream fight with Anthony Joshua now gone, Fury could return to wrestling for some dream matches of a different kind.
A WWE legend thinks Fury is perfect for professional wrestling
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley thinks that Fury should come back to the WWE given how entertaining he is in the ring.
He spoke with SportingTalk and was asked about the recent retirement of Fury and how that could affect a potential return to the WWE.
“Oh he is? I didn’t know that.” Mick Foley admitted. “Tyson Fury’s made for our world. He really enjoys it. Another guy who respects it.”
Drew McIntyre was not happy singing with Tyson Fury at WWE Clash at the Castle in Wales.

“I was so happy getting Clash in Wales and getting the first stadium show since SummerSlam 92’ and getting the main event, I wasn’t happy getting screwed and the worst moment of my life… pic.twitter.com/I3PhysCjlN
“I met him and he was a big wrestling fan and he didn’t just bring a lot of fun to it, but he brought a lot of talent.”
“I mean a guy that size just the way he was moving away and dodging punches, kind of like Muhammad Ali with the quickness and the head movements were unbelievable. Amazing stuff.”
However, Drew McIntyre was less impressed, calling the moment he sang American Pie with Fury after Clash at the Castle as the worst moment of his career.
