Hamish Woodward founded BritWrestling in 2023, in an effort to educate the world about the history of professional wrestling in his home country.

He began the site following a successful career in sports writing, after graduating from Swansea University in 2018 with a degree in Media and Communications.

For the past four years, Hamish has worked as a full-time writer for a variety of publications. This includes RingsideNews.com, FootballLeagueWorld.com and GiveMeSport.com, as well as founding professional wrestling news site Atletifo.com.

As a lifelong fan of the sport, the move into writing about wrestling seemed the right career move for Hamish, who has made his living talking about his love for pro wrestling for a number of years now.
