AEW star Anthony Ogogo has returned to the company, and looks set to face Chris Jericho in the near future.

He attacked Jericho and Hook on AEW Collision this Saturday, following the pair’s win over Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty. Their celebrations were shorted lived, however.

The Olympian rushed to the ring after the match, ambushing the pair. Taylor and Moriarty soon joined him, holding the former WWE Champion in one place.

Ogogo knocked Jericho out with one punch, in what was a devastating blow. This was the same thing he did when he first debuted in AEW, during his feud with Cody Rhodes in 2021.

The run-in was the Englishman’s first appearance on AEW TV since 2022. The last time he was seen at an AEW event was last year, when he joined Paul Wight and Grado on the AEW All In pre-show at Wembley Stadium.

This attack is likely to lead to a match between Anthony Ogogo and Chris Jericho. The former boxer will likely also face off against Hook too.

The boxer was interviewed after the match, and was revealed as the newest member of Shane Taylor Promotions.
