Predictions For NJPW Royal Question IV In London

//

New Japan Pro Wrestling return for their fourth Royal Quest show in London, England.

Despite Will Ospreay leaving the company earlier this year, NJPW have a new British hero to fall back on. A week before NJPW Royal Quest IV, Zack Sabre Jr challenges Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

If he wins that, the return to London will be an incredible homecoming for the English star. Expect him and the other British stars of NJPW to make a hugh mark in London for Royal Quest IV.

When Is NJPW Royal Quest IV?

NJPW Royal Quest IV will take place Sunday October 20 at the Crystal Palace Indoor Arena in London.

This is the same arena that Royal Quest II took place in 2022. That show featured a massive tag team bout, where FTR battled Aussie Open in a tag team match.

While we don’t predict FTR to make another appearance for the company at this event, it should still be an exciting event for fans, with some incredible matches.

Tickets for NJPW Royal Quest IV will be available via presale soon, and you can sign up here to receive the latest information from NJPW UK.

The Match Card

Currently, no matches have been announced for NJPW Royal Quest IV. We will update this match when the company reveal which bouts will take place.

These will likely include matches from British stars like Zack Sabre Jr, Gabe Kidd and Callum Newman.

NJPW Royal Quest IV Predicitions

Like last year’s event, we predict that NJPW Royal Quest IV will feature a mash-up of Japanese and British talent.

With British stars like Robbie X, Luke Jacobs, Trent Seven and Michael Oku all wrestling at last years event, they continued the theme of showcasing British talent on such a huge stage.

Progress World Champion Luke Jacobs looks likely to wrestle in a marquee match. A rematch with Tomohiro Ishii would be ideal for him, and give him a chance to get his win back against the Stone Pitbull.

Gabe Kidd should also be scheduled for a big match. Whether that be as part of a multi-man match alongside the Bullet Club or as a singles star is currently unknown. However, we’d love to see him in a high-profile bout, possibly challenging Jeff Cobb for the NJPW World Television Championship.

Of course, the main event has to be a title defence by Zack Sabre Jr. We think he’lll beat Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion at King of Pro Wrestling, and walk into Crystal Palace as the new world champion.

A rematch against Tetsuya Naito seems the most likely. With Yota Tsuji favourite to beat the Englishman at Wrestle Kingdom, a title defence against the former champion would go a long way to legitimise the G1 Climax winner’s reign.
