The match between Mina Shirakawa and Mercedes Mone at Wrestle Dynasty will now also be for the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
At RevPro Uprising 2024, Mina Shirakawa wrestled Dani Luna. She beat the Englishwoman for the title earlier this year and this rematch gave Luna a chance to reclaim her title.
Sadly, it was not to be. Mina Shirakawa managed to roll up Luna after taking a Luna Landing, pinning her and retaining her title. The pair shook hands after the match, although that was not the end of the story.
Following the match, the lights in York Hall went out. AEW’s Mercedes Mone came on the screen to address Mina Shirakawa ahead of their match at Wrestle Dynasty.
With that clash on January 5th already for the NJPW Women’s Strong title, the former WWE Superstar challenged Mina Shirakawa to “put your money where your mouth is” and put the Undisputed British Women’s Championship on the line at the Tokyo Dome.
This will be the first time the title has been defended at the Tokyo Dome. Mina Shirakawa vs Mercedes Mone for the Undisputed British Women’s Championship will take place on January 5th in the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
