Will Ospreay shocked the entire wrestling world with one of the most dangerous moves ever seen at AEW Revolution 2025.
The Aerial Assassin wrestled in one of the most brutal steel cage matches ever seen at the pay-per-view.
Will Ospreay battled Kyle Fletcher, his former friend and teammate in a bout that saw blood, weapons and downright dangerous stunts being performed by both men.
Yeah, Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher are something else.

The Englishman climbed to the top of the cage near the end of the match to pull off a death-defying stunt. He grabbed Fletcher and did a backflip, hitting him with a Spanish fly as the crowd chanted “please don’t die!”.
He didn’t die and Ospreay went on to win the match and end his rivalry with his former friend. However, his missus wasn’t too happy with what she saw on the TV that night!
Will Ospreay said he would give Alex Windsor a ‘right good seeing to’
On AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay made a clear reference to “his missus”, Alex Windsor.
He cut a promo about his match with Fletcher at Revolution and mentioned how his partner did not want him jumping off the top of the steel cage – something he ignored.
“I’m in a bit of trouble with my wife. Honestly, right? Which is fair enough—I lied to her.” Will Ospreay said.
the day before the cage match. She gets on the phone, she’s like, ‘Babe, I’m nervous, I’m scared. Please, please don’t do anything stupid off the cage.’ I said, ‘Babe, I’m not doing anything stupid off the cage. I’m in my 30s now. I got back problems. I’m not going up there, you’re having a laugh.'”
I realized it was bad when I was standing up there, looking down at everyone, and I saw: camera phone, camera phone, camera phone. And there was this guy in a green shirt like this—’Don’t die. Don’t die. Don’t die.’
So I call her back. Bit like pulling the pin out of a grenade and hoping for the best.
She’s being real nice to me. She’s going, ‘Oh, babe, thank God you’re all right. Well done. I love you so much. Well done.’
I thought, ‘Babe, thank you. I’m emotionally spent. I can’t tell you what’s going on.’ She went, ‘You jumped off the flipping cage!’. But I’m a charming man, I charmed my way out of it.”
I said, ‘Babe, I’m back on Friday. I’ll cook you a nice dinner… and I’ll give you a damn good seeing to. Don’t worry about it.'”
In Britain, giving someone “damn good seeing to” is something that Alex Windsor would very much enjoy and could smooth things over between her and the Aerial Assassin.
He needs to heal before aiming for an AEW Championship match at All In
Ospreay sustained numerous injuries at Revolution, including cuts to his head, a hip injury and what looked like a stab wound to his abdomen.
He still has four months until All In in July to heal and get himself into a world title match in Arlington.
The first two AEW All In shows were in his hometown of London, England. He is 2-0 at the Wembley Stadium events, beating Chris Jericho and MJF, respectively in his two matches there.
Will Ospreay sets his sights for All In:

"I have set myself a mission—because I want to be in the main event on Saturday, July 12th, at Arlington, Texas, Globe Life Field.
And I know one way I can get there—by entering the Owen Hart Tournament." #AEW #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/8lx1AO3iNu
However, the 2025 All In show is in Texas, miles and miles away from his home and Alex Windsor. The Englishman wants to repeat his success in the last two years by winning the AEW Championship at All In Texas, following his promo on Dynamite.
Ospreay already declared his intent to enter (and win) the Owen Hart Cup to earn his title show at All In, just as Bryan Danielson did the year before.
Whether it’s Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland or Cope, a battle with Ospreay will surely be a match of the year contender for the AEW Champion.
