European wrestling is in for a treat on August 31st, 2024 when WWE brings Bash In Berlin 2024.
It is the first time that WWE is bringing a Premium Live Event to Germany. After Britain being the only place outside of North America for decades, the company have extended their range to mainland Europe in 2024.
Backlash this year came from Lyon in France, and has been followed by Bash in Berlin 2024. It is a historic event, and one that all wrestling fans cannot wait to see.
How To Watch WWE Bash In Berlin In The UK
The event takes place at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany on August 31st. This is just six days after AEW All In takes place at Wembley Stadium, making it a huge week for British and European wrestling.
The event is set to start at 5:30PM BST in the United Kingdom. It will be broadcast exclusively on the WWE Network, as are the rest of their PLE’s.
A pre-show, also known as the kick-off show, is likely to be available to watch two hours before Bash in Berlin. This features pundits covering the matches and discussing what could happen at the event.
These kick-off shows sometimes feature wrestling matches, but it is not guaranteed. At this point in time, no pre-show matches for Bash in Berlin have been announced.
WWE Bash In Berlin 2024 Predictions
At the moment, nothing has been announced for the Bash in Berlin card, so there’s nothing concrete to predict. However, there are a few matches we can predict will occur.
It seems certain that Gunther will defend the World Heavyweight Championship at the event, after beating Damien Priest at Summerslam. A rematch with Priest is possible, as is a title defence against a top talent like Seth Rollins.
Meanwhile, a rematch between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre in a stipulation match is something else we predict. After over six months of build-up, they cannot simply stop after one match. The stakes will get higher and the match will be bloodier at the Bash in Berlin.
Here is our predicted card for WWE Bash in Berlin 2024:
- Gunther vs Seth Rollins – World Heavyweight Championship
- CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre – Steel Cage Match
- Bron Breakker vs Ilja Dragunov – Intercontinental Championship
- Damien Priest, Jey Uso & Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio & Finn Balor
- Solo Siko vs Roman Reigns (Bloodline Rules Match)
- Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens – Undisputed WWE Championship
- Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, & Naomi vs. Blair Davenport, Alba Fyre, & Isla Dawn
British Wrestlers Appearing At The Event
Fans of British wrestling are in luck, as a number of local wrestlers are likely to appear at the show.
Drew McIntyre is arguably the greatest British wrestler in WWE history. His feud with CM Punk took the world by storm in the past six months, and the former WWE Champion will almost certainly be in action.
We predict Drew McIntyre will wrestle CM Punk at Bash in Berlin, in a rematch from Summerslam 2024. This will likely have some form of stipulation, perhaps a steel cage or Hell in a Cell match.
Pete Dunne could also be in action. He has recently been embroiled in a feud with Sheamus, in a match that could interest fans on the continent. Both men have wrestled all over Europe, and could put on a fantastic match in Berlin if given the time.
Sadly, Pete Dunne’s tag team partner won’t be at the event. Tyler Bate suffered an injury that could keep him out until the Royal Rumble last month. There is no chance he wrestles at Bash in Berlin, which will be sad news for wrestling fans in Germany.
Another British talent who will likely appear is Wade Barrett, but not as a wrestler. He has been Smackdown’s resident commentator for some time, and his experience in Europe will make him invaluable for this event in Germany.
It’s unlikely any local UK talent, such as Luke Jacobs or Michael Oku, will make appearances. Joe Hendry could appear, after the huge success of his recent run in NXT, but that also seems unlikely.
