Man Like Dereiss should sign with TNA on a full-time basis rather than be tempted by WWE’s reported interest.
The English rapper-turned-wrestler is on WWE’s radar as a potential future star, but TNA could offer him a better path to success.
His work in the UK has been stellar over the past few years and he has forged a deep connection to the crowd that few others can manage.
However, it seems clear that TNA would be the best place for Man Like Dereiss in the immediate future.
Why Man Like Dereiss Would Be A Good Fit For TNA
TNA recently handed Man Like Dereiss his debut, although it was clear that he is not yet signed full-time to the company.
The 28-year-old lost to Jason Hotch on the recent TNA Xplosion taping. This is the company’s “B Show”, being shown on YouTube and mainly showing recaps of previous matches from the promotion’s history.
While he didn’t find victory in his maiden voyage in TNA, it could indicate a future in the US for Man Like Dereiss. He would be a good fit in TNA if they were impressed by him in that match, given his penchant for entertaining the crowd and his larger-than-life personality.
Man Like Dereiss would also be able to team with his tag team partner Leon Slater, who is already signed to TNA.
He has shown vast improvements in the ring over the past few years and has been rewarded with more and more bookings in PROGRESS and the US.
TNA is somewhere where real characters can flex their creative muscles. People like Joe Hendry and Matt Hardy have got over using their own minds and talents and I see Man Like Dereiss as equally as talented and able as those two.
Dereiss Would Be Lost In WWE Despite His Talents
WWE are also reportedly in the market for Man Like Dereiss, although he would do well to avoid their tempting offer to stick it out with TNA.
As it stands, the Englishman would be stuck in NXT for the foreseeable future. Wrestlers are known to spend years in the company’s developmental promotion waiting for a spot on TV, let alone a chance at being the main event.
Man Like Dereiss would be starting from the bottom and would be lost among a litany of other wrestlers trying to make it in the WWE. He would struggle to stand out at first and his progress would be delayed indefinitely.

TNA would be the best of both worlds. It gives Man Like Dereiss the ability to showcase his talents on a bigger stage, but still intimate enough to let him be himself and be presented with a star.
He could go a similar route to Joe Hendry: starting in the lower card but slowly getting over with his rapping and fantastic wrestling in the years following.
Then, should he impress, AEW and WWE will be jumping to sign Man Like Dereiss with a much better contract and a much higher standing in the company.
What Is Man Like Dereiss’ Future In PROGRESS Wrestling Like?
One of the downsides of joining TNA would mean limited availability for Man Like Dereiss to wrestle for PROGRESS in the future.
He has, for some strange reason, struggled to become one of RevPro’s main touring roster but has been a consistent member of the PROGRESS Wrestling team.
While Leon Slater finds time to wrestle in the UK around his TNA commitments, he does not spend enough to be considered a reliable name in the current market.
Man Like Dereiss has an insane schedule, seemingly wrestling on every show around the country. He will struggle to retain his connection with the UK fanbase but the opportunities in the United States with TNA are more than worth the risk.
