Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) is making its debut in London on January 26th in what could be one of its best shows of 2025.
The American promotion, fresh off their controversy with Tony Khan and AEW, have booked the Electric Ballroom in London for their first time venturing to the nation’s capital.
The show is being produced by GCW in partnership with Progress Wrestling. Man Like Dereiss has already been announced for the show and expect even more Progress stars to make appearances at the event in January.
With stars from the UK, America and the rest of the world all taking part, it looks to be a star-studded card that fans cannot miss out on in January.

GCW Live In London Prediction
Here are our predictions for GCW Live In London 2025. This is based on the shows leading up to the event and the most likely outcomes based on recent bookings in the promotion.
Man Like Dereiss vs Maki Itoh
This is not the match anybody expected but one everybody is excited to see.
Man Like Dereiss continues his run of being on almost every wrestling card in Britain by battling against Japanese star Maki Itoh at GCW Live in London in January.
I can’t see past Dereiss for this match, but with the skills of both wrestlers putting them among the best in their respective countries, this could be the match of the night in the Electric Ballroom.
Prediction: Man Like Dereiss wins
Effy vs Cara Noir
The two most popular characters in GCW and Progress, respectively, are battling it out in the Electric Ballroom in January.
It seems likely that Effy will win this match, given he is one of GCW’s biggest stars. His gimmick will clash with the more artistic Cara Noir, although it is these clashes which usually produce the most interesting matches.
Neither men are slouches in the ring, so this match should be a great one that is filled with character moments to keep the fans engaged throughout.
Prediction: Effy wins
Sidney Akeem vs Aigle Blanc
Another US vs Europe match was announced on the show as Sidney Akeem faces the German masked wrestler Aigle Blank (White Eagle).
Prediction: Sidney Akeen wins
GCW World Championship: Drew Parker vs Mance Warner
I don’t know much about these two, other than that Mance Warner has recently signed with TNA. Based on that, I predict him to lose this one.
Prediction: Drew Parker wins
Masha Slamovich vs Megan Bayne
This match, announced very close to the actual event, has the potential to be the best bout in London for GCW.
Masha Slamovich is the TNA Knockouts Champion while Megan Bayne is AEW’s newest signing. The winner of this one will likely be the TNA star, although both women are bound to put on a fantastic performance.
Prediction: Megan Bayne Wins
Luke Jacobs vs 1 Called Manders
1 Called Manders is appearing in PROGRESS and RevPro next month, but kicks off his UK tour with a match against PROGRESS World Champion Luke Jacobs in a huge clash at GCW Live in London.
Prediction: Luke Jacobs wins
