The Pro Wrestling Alliance is open to having a British wrestling promotion join their group.
It was revealed yesterday that MLPW, OPW and QPW were joining together to create the Pro Wrestling Alliance. The plan is to create a modern version of the classic NWA in the US, with the goal of “working together on talent exchanges, champion vs. champion dream matches and other collaborations”.
The process is being led by former TNA boss Scott D’Amore. He recently revived Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, and was at the forefront of this new alliance.
While the PWA has already covered North America, Australia and the Middle East, Great Britain could be the next area they aim to recruit a new member of the alliance.
The Pro Wrestling Alliance revealed to BritWrestling that they are open to exploring a partnership in the UK, noting the “amazing wrestling scene in the country”.
However, they did not give any specifics, and it does not seem like anything is in the works right now.
“We are open to any mutually beneficial partnerships .The UK has an amazing wrestling scene and we would of course explore any viable partnerships there.” they wrote to BritWrestling.
