Zoe Lucas is returning to the wrestling ring for the first time in over two years following the events of RevPro Uprising 2024.

RevPro made the announcement on Twitter this evening as Zoe Lucas is set to wrestle her first match for the promotion since 2021.

After her appearance at RevPro Uprising, the English star will take on Cut Throat Collective’s Safire Reed at RevPro Live in London 92 at the 229 in London on February 2nd.

On Twitter, RevPro wrote “For the first time since the summer of 2021, former British Women’s Champion: ZOE LUCAS steps back into a RevPro ring when she goes one on one with SAFIRE REED”

Zoe Lucas responded by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, while Safire Reed warned that she didn’t know what she’s got herself in for.

“I don’t think you know what you’ve got yourself into @ZoeLucasPro.”

The English star was shown in the crowd at York Hall before the Undisputed British Women’s Championship match. She hugged champion Mina Shirakawa before the match, cheering her on to victory over Dani Luna.

However, chaos broke out after the match.

Dani Luna and Mina Shirakawa shook hands in the ring before the Cut Throat Collective ran in, attacking both women. They even went to ringside, attempting to goad Zoe Lucas into the ring before attacking her anyway.

They dragged her into the ring before laying her out with a powerbomb, in one of the first bumps she’s taken in years.

The battles with the Cut Throat Collective have overtaken the women’s division in RevPro in recent months. Zoe Lucas, Dani Luna and Mina Shirakawa join stars like Millie McKenzie and Kanji in wrestlers who have a program with the heel stable, which features stars like Alex Windsor and Lizzie Evo.

The five-woman stable has dominated the women in RevPro. However, the number game looks to be catching up with them and it seems likely that Zoe Lucas will come out of retirement to join a group of women in a five-vs-five showdown in the near future.

The Englishwoman was a regular star on the UK indie scene before retirement and even found success in the US and Japan.

She appeared regularly for Stardom in Japan and was close with both Mina Shirakawa and Mariah May, with Lucas and May forming the tag team “Dream Dollz”

Zoe Lucas Returns After Retiring In 2022.

Zoe Lucas hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Billie Starkz in November 2022. Following her loss at Black Label Pro in 2022, she stopped wrestling for an extended break that lasted over two years.

While nothing has been announced publically, it is assumed that the retirement was due to the illness suffered by Zoe Lucas’ husband, James Castle.

He suffered from cancer for four years and it is speculated that Zoe Lucas retired from wrestling to care for him – a very admirable thing to do. Sadly, Castle passed away from Acute Myeloud Leukemia in June this year in a tragic loss for British Wrestling.

“On Saturday 15th June after 4 years of treatment, 12 rounds of chemotherapy, 2 bone marrow transplants, radio therapy and countless experimental trials we lost Jamie Stacey @JamesCastle49 to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Thank you for giving me the best 9 years of my life ❤️❤️

After all that she has been through in the past few years, there is no doubt fans will give Zoe Lucas the incredible reception she deserves when she returns to wrestle for RevPro in London next year.
